The CTC structure, employment documentation & provision of a cellphone allowance should be reviewed. Where the employer provides a fixed cellphone allowance, there should not be a system of usage/claims against that allowance by the employee. I have a cellphone allowance as part of CTC, which is never fully used. Can I claim the balance from the company.
Allowance R 1000-00, usage R600-00. Can R400 be claimed.

In a case where an employement contract states that the salary offer is calculated based on a CTC package and also that the employee is entitled to a 13th cheque. Is it correct for the employee to receive a 13th cheque that is equivalent to a month’s basic salary? I smell a rat.

By altogether blocking the people using Facebook only means they will use their phone or smartphones to do it says Arthur Goldstuck. He reckons its good to give people an hour after they arrived at work and an hour before they go home because that time is unproductive usually anyway. I tend to agree with this. Even children should not be allowed to have access to internet after 10pm at night.
